We have just completed our first investment purchase with Phone Homes; we found the process challenging at times, however the team worked tirelessly to ensure a positive result. I would not suggest purchasing a property at Christmas time with reduced settlement as it creates additional challenges that you may not need during this time of year. We’ve been wanting to purchase an investment property for some time before a member from Phone homes called one day out of the blue. We were asked to listen to a Presentation with Ben to give us an insight into how Phone Homes can help us to achieve one our biggest goals in life, to finally own our own investment property and give us the financial security we were after. Once the process began, the team from Phone Homes made the whole process look easy. From our first appointment with Amelia gathering all our financial and other relevant information, to having Pamela put us in a better financial position ready for the investment property. It wasn’t long before we finally got the call from Jackson that a suitable and very promising property had been found for us in SA. 12mths on and we’ve now finally secured our property, not to mention the efforts Ben went to make this all happen. I couldn’t begin to think what he had to do to secure the price we were given 12mths prior and to get all of this over the line. We recently completed our first experience with PhoneHomes and while not perfect overall due to lengthy and continual delays in construction and site management through COVID, and the resourcing and materials issues that presented, Ben, Amelia and the team did the best they could in very trying circumstances for everyone. The time from sign up to property handover, ended up being around 2.5 years but they provided monthly updates, listened and understood our position whenever we needed to talk about the issues happening and always went out of their way to lessen the impacts on us when they were able to. Customer service was exemplary, they were accessible, returned calls and emails when they said they would, and managed the situation very well. So, although the entire project definitely had shortcomings, PhoneHomes did a great job and we would use them again.

My wife and I are incredibly happy, having received our first rental payment in the bank. We can already see how our own home loan will benefit from our new positively geared investment. We had little understanding of how to go about investing in property, and while there was a lot of information out there, having Ben, Jackson and the PhoneHomes team take us through it step by step was wonderful.
